Who can join our Freediving Expeditions ?
Our expeditions are ideal for ocean lovers, underwater explorers and adventurous divers who want to discover the incredible dive sites of Malta and Gozo.
Thanks to the diversity of the Maltese Islands, both beginner and advanced certified freedivers can enjoy spectacular underwater landscapes, including shipwrecks, caves and caverns, arches and swim-through, reefs and walls, drop-offs and cliffs, and rich Mediterranean marine life.
Beginners benefit from shallow, easy-entry dive sites with clear visibility and abundant marine life which offer safe, and scenic environments. Advanced divers can explore complex underwater features and intricate swim-throughs providing technical challenges and thrilling exploration opportunities.
Our shore-based freediving expeditions are for certified freedivers only (freediving certification qualifying for open water dives beyond 10m at least). This underwater activity is not suitable for snorkelers and skin divers.

On every guided freediving expedition in Malta or Gozo, you will dive into crystal-clear Mediterranean waters with visibility regularly reaching 25–40 meters, exploring extraordinary underwater landscapes that make Malta one of Europe's top freediving destinations.
Malta is renowned for its incredible collection of shipwrecks, some intentionally sunk as artificial reefs, others sunk during WW2. From large tankers, old ferries or big tugboats to S-class submarine, bomber aircraft, destroyers or minesweepers, Malta has it all. And these wrecks are not just historical sites, they are also vibrant underwater ecosystems.
If you prefer cave exploration over wreck diving, Gozo and Malta offer stunning coastal caves, natural arches, swim-through tunnels, and dramatic drop-offs.
